He was born May 25, 1951 in Franklin Township, Greene County, a son of Nora E. Balsinger Hoyle of Waynesburg, who survives and the late George Edward Hoyle.
He was a 1971 graduate of Waynesburg Central High School.
Mr. Hoyle worked as a coal miner at Emerald Mine in Waynesburg since 2003. He previously worked at Gateway Mine where he was a member of U.M.W. of A. Local 6330.
He was a life time resident of Greene County and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ruff Creek.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Surviving in addition to his mother are a sister, Cynthia Chadwick of Waynesburg; three brothers, Terry Hoyle (Brenda) of Waynesburg, George Hoyle (Vickie) of Maryland, and Robert Hoyle (Connie) of Waynesburg; a sister-in-law, Brenda S. Hoyle of Waynesburg; and several nieces ,nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Deceased in addition to his father are two brothers, Charles E. Hoyle Sr., and Dale Hoyle, who died in infancy.
Friends will be received 4pm to 8 p.m. Friday, and from 12 noon to 1 p.m., the hour of services on Saturday, April 18, 2015, in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 W. High St., Waynesburg , with Rev. Nick Bardo officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Morgan Township with military honors by American Legion Post 330 and the U.S. Marine Corps.
