She was born July 5, 1925 in Brave, a daughter of the late Jasper R. and Sara Sine Martin.
On November 11, 1947 she married Earl Warren King who died in 1993.
Mrs. King was a 70 year member of the Allegheny Wesleyan Church in Waynesburg. She had worked at the Busy Bee in Waynesburg and as a volunteer for Produce to People.
She enjoyed reading, church, children, and sitting in the sun. She was a lifelong good Samaritan, providing meals, lodging, and love for others.
Surviving are four daughters, Sara (Sally) Knisley, Wanda Snyder, Barbara Misechok, and Christina E. (Tina) King; two sons, Ronald Lee Martin and Terry Warren King; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; one brother, C. Kenneth Martin of Waynesburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are 3 three great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Opal Martin, Louie Martin, and Lela Martin Stevens; and 5 brothers, Nelson (Bus) Martin, Charles Martin, Don Martin, Robert Martin, and Edsle Martin.
Friends will be received 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday in Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the hour of services on Saturday, April 29, 2017 in the Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church, 355 Washington Road, Waynesburg with Rev.
