James "Jim" Ray Gump Jr.

Jim was born on June 29, 1943 in Waynesburg to the late James Ray Gump Sr. and Mary E. Tustin Gump. He graduated from Waynesburg High School. He worked in several coal mines and retired from Cumberland Mine. He was a member of the Waynesburg Nazarene Church. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge No. 153. He loved his pets and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carol A. Patterson Gump; two daughters, Rachelle Berry (Mike) and Cathy Berry (Todd); and four grandchildren, Jacob Berry, Hillary Berry, Tyler Berry and Haley Berry.

Per Jim's wishes, services will be private.
