Helen Kiger Hoskins, 88, of Waynesburg, PA passed away at 9:18 PM on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at Waynesburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation. She was born on December 27, 1935 in Brock, PA, a daughter of the late Ensel "Slim" Kiger and Anna Price Kiger. Helen attended Spraggs United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafts and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved sewing and puzzles. She worked as a nurses aid at Greene County Memorial Hospital,and also worked at Greenway manufacturing as a seamstress. Helen volunteered for Hospice and was also a loving homemaker. Her Husband: William Guy Hoskins whom she married on March 1, 1957 died September 29, 2002. Surviving are 2 Sons: Gordon R. Hoskins of Waynesburg, PA, Ronald "Fuzz" (Candy) Hoskins of Waynesburg, PA, her Daughter-in-Law: Marcy Hoskins of Waynesburg,PA, 4 Grandchildren: Amanda (Tony) Kerik, Kristy (Rob) Herlihy, Kaitlyn (Tyler) Kieffer, Devon (Amanda) Hoskins, 2 Step-Granddaughters: Whitney (Zack) McClinton and Jena Orrahood, 8 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Step-Great-Grandchild, 2 Sisters: Doris Jean Gooden, Betty Ann (Harold King, Jr.) and several nieces and nephews. Deceased: 1 Son- Rod Hoskins, 1 Grandson- Stephen Craig Hoskins and 1 Brother- John William "Bill" Kiger.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 197 N. Maiden St., Waynesburg, PA 15370 Shane M. Ayers, Director with her service being held at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bradley Edgar officiating. Helen will be laid to rest in Fairall Cemetery, Whiteley Township, PA.
