

Born April 23, 1932 in Royal, a son of the late Charles F. and Kathyn Sereg Burack, he grew up in Bobtown.
Mr. Burack retired from the U.S. Army as a Chief Warrant Officer CW3. He served in Korea and Germany and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was awarded several decorations, including the Purple Heart, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Palm, Bronze Star Medal, and Army Commendation Medal. Mr. Burack was an area businessman for many years and was active in his community.
On November 10, 1955 he married Dwanda Simmons Burack, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Cynthia Burack of Washington DC; a son, Charles C. Burack (and his wife Cyndee Helmick Burack) of Greensboro; a granddaughter, Rachel Burack of Westover, WV; and two sisters, Kathryn Denoy of Lanexa Virginia and Grace Mohr of Grottoes, Virginia.
Deceased are an infant daughter, Mary Kay Burack; sister, Rosemary Piciorik; and a brother, James Burack.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday and from 11:00 a.m. to 12 Noon, Friday, July 15, 2011 the hour of services in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High St., Waynesburg, with the Rev. Richard Ritenour officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville with graveside military honors. Condolences may be offered at www.behmfh.com.
