William Patrick Herring

He was born June 28, 1995 in Pasadena, California, the son of Ashley C. Edwards and Russell T. Herring.

Patrick was a student at Piedmont Virginia Community College.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Jane S. Herring and maternal grandfather William H. Cole; and aunt, Nancy Eileen Herring.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-father, John Edwards, Mrs. Russell (Patricia) Herring, grandfather, Dr. Russell E. Herring, Jr., grandmother, Catherine M. Tinker, step-sister, October Edwards, three uncles; Scott Cole and wife Melanie, Robert E. Herring and wife Anne, Stephen A. Herring, cousins; Charles Ryan Cole, Emily Herring, James Herring and Cori Killian..

A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Bethany Lutheran Church, Waynesboro by Pastor Tim Bohlman, assisted by a dear family friend, Karen McLean.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the fellowship hall of the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes and Crematory.
