Fly High Billy, May You Rest in Peace, Mac and Angie Fitzgerald.

So sorry to hear of Billy's passing.  We went to Bridgewater College together and he was such a good friend to me.  He was the sweetest guy in the world and would do anything for a friend.  He and his baseball mates would always look out for me.   Blessings to your family and again, I am so sorry for your loss.

Billy will be greatly missed. We lost touch after high school but many fond memories playing football and baseball together growing up.  Playing football before, after and during school at Jackson Wilson.  If somebody wasn’t crying, bleeding or injured we weren’t really playing. We were best friends for a number of years. We would sometimes fight,  then 5 minutes later be best friends and back to tormenting the rest of the class. Most people don’t know this about Billy, but in 6th grade we were both given special seats to separate us from the rest of the class. We had to sit behind cubicles in the front corner of the room to I keep us from being so disruptive.   One of my best memories was when our teacher would talk to the class Billy would stand up on his desk and make faces over the top of his cubicle to the class (we were behind the teacher and she couldn’t see us.). Well one day Billy lost his balance and fell off his desk and knocked over the cubicle. I still laugh when I think about that. Needless to say the teacher finally figured out the cubicle wasn’t the best idea.   When I think of summers as a kid I think of being at the little league field with Billy. Catching grounders, pop flies and once we got a little older seeing how many balls we could hit over the fence. Great memories playing little league all stars together.  I will miss you. 

RIP Billy, I enjoyed working with you, and will miss running into you in the toy department looking for matchbox cars.


Billy was part of the Coors family, and he will be greatly missed. I remember all of the good time we had laughs we shared.


Sending prayers to the family... I worked with Billy at Coors...we had a lot of good times... he was a great guy and I know he will be missed. he was so proud of those old mopars.. I liked the purple one..he asked me to buy it one time... I will never forget you good friend... RIP

I met Billy through our diecast club. He was a very nice gentleman and also a fellow Mopar man. My condolences for his family and friends.

Billy was a member of our Hot Wheels Club in Winchester. He loved going around different places and toy shows looking for the next big thing to buy. He will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry for the family’s loss. I worked with Billy in the packaging department. He was such a good worker and a great person to talk to.

So very sad to hear of Billy's passing.  He was a dear friend for many years.  Memories of Billy range from selling my father-in-law an old VDOT truck (equipped with flashing light on top - which led to a lot of great stories) to letting our oldest (now 28) ride in a parade with him in one of his refurbished/"souped-up" cars - a highlight & cherished memory for our son and us.  Although he worked with my husband, he was a huge part of my life after moving to the valley and he will be missed.  I pray for peace for the family (including Billy's Coors family).  Billy was one of the good guys & he will be missed.  

Worked side by side with Billy for many many years. He helped me get my job at Coors back in the day.  We had lots of good times over the years. You will be missed. Rest In Peace My Friend!!!!

Have known Billy for close to 45 years. Went to school and grew up in the tree streets together. Played baseball from little league all the through senior babe bruth. Really good guy. He will be missed. RIP my friend. Until we meet again.
