Tracy Small

Born July 24, 1969 in Waynesboro, he was a son of the late Elizabeth Alice (Hanger) Small. On April 17, 1993 he married Michelle Frazier. The two shared 31 years of wonderful marriage together.

Tracy was employed by McKee Foods of Stuarts Draft where he worked as a forklift operator for 30 years. He was a member of Wayside Baptist Church, Waynesboro. Tracy was a jack of all trades and had a servant’s heart that led him to help anyone in need. He was a talented craftsman and even helped build his home. Family was important to him and he’d do anything to help take care of them or help them out. He was somewhat of a “shade tree” mechanic, working on all types of vehicles for others and in particular he took pride in his Ford trucks. He will be remembered as a loving husband, caring father, devoted grandfather, brother, nephew, uncle and friend to many.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by uncles, Raymond Hanger, Jr., Glenn Hanger, and Douglas Hanger; and aunt, Leona Thompson.

Survivors include his loving wife, Michelle Small; children, Kelsi Brooke Small and husband, Isom Marquell-Jewells Bryant of Fishersville and Christian Evan Small and wife, Samara Dawn (Little) Small of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Kobi and Saylor Bryant; one soon to be born granddaughter, Melody Small; sisters, Carol Mayo and Jennifer Mayo; brother, Scott Mayo and wife, Lori; uncle that was like a father to him, Howard M. Hanger and wife, Shirley; uncle, Kenneth Hanger and wife, Judith; uncle, Frank Thompson; aunt, Velma Hanger; nephews, Austin Mayo and Cameron Jerrell; niece, Kayla Floriano; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Brenda and Lewis Harding Dunn; sister-in-law, Tabitha Dunn; close friends, John Toliver and Bob Baber; and numerous friends and co-workers.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St., Waynesboro.
