Shirley Christine (Bosserman) Nichols

Born in Waynesboro on August 15, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Lester Boyd and Bertha Alease (Blackwell) Bosserman.

Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Dakota McDaniel.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Dreama Brown and her husband, Charles, Jr.; son, Dusty Fitzgerald and his wife, Rhonda; eight grandchildren, Colin, Brandon, and Tristin Fitzgerald, Miracle Brown, Mykah and Jaida Dent, Kolby Powell, and Tyler Scott; two brothers, Bradford Bosserman and his wife, Stephanie and Jerry Bosserman and his wife, Barbara; two sisters, Brenda Patterson and Linda Hahn; step mother, Anna Bosserman; step-brother, Roger Coon and step-sister, Linda Bartley. Shirley will also be missed by her friend, Gino and her four-legged friend, Tyson.

A heartfelt thank you to her loving sister, Linda, for all the love, attention and wonderful care she gave Shirley throughout her life.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Shenandoah Heights Baptist Church with a memorial service to follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Dr. Paul F. LaPrevotte officiating.

In honor of Shirley’s love of animals, memorial donations may be made to your local SPCA or Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah, 64 Sports Medicine Drive, Fishersville, Virginia 22939.
