Rosemarie Bradley Fitzgerald

Mrs. Fitzgerald was born on November 13, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA and was a daughter of the late Homer and Hester (Rankin) Bradley. She was a homemaker, and was a member of the Wayside Baptist Church. She loved and was loved by her church family. Rose enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many.

On June 14, 1951 she married Kenneth C. Fitzgerald, who survives.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Fitzgerald is survived by three sons, Robert Fitzgerald and wife Sheila of Crimora, Steve Fitzgerald and wife Elizabeth of Dooms, Charles Fitzgerald and wife Rachelle of Waynesboro; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Johnny Lee Fitzgerald and Kenneth C. Fitzgerald, Jr. Rose was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 6, 2012 at 11 AM at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastors Jerry Cline, Randy Blankenship, and Robert Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park. The Fitzgerald family will receive friends on Sunday evening at the funeral home from 7 until 8 PM.

Active Pallbearers for the service will be Mrs. Fitzgerald’s grandsons and the Deacons of Wayside Baptist Church.
