Robert Joseph Davis Sr.

Robert Joseph Davis Sr, 66, of Crimora, passed away on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his friends and loved ones. Robert was born to Carthen W Davis and Rose E (Wiseman) Raider on April 7th, 1957. He was a longtime construction worker, and the owner of his own small construction firm for many years. Robert was also a veteran of the United States Navy, serving aboard the aircraft carrier USS America. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, June Ellen (Sweet) Davis; as well as his step-father, Hunter Perry Raider. Robert is survived by his daughter, Angel Brown with husband Jerry of Waynesboro; grandchildren Katlyn and Damien Brown; and one brother. He is also survived by his best friends, Mary Thomas and family, George Johnson and Harry Johnson; as well as his faithful K9 “babies” Abby, Dixie and Sassy. Following cremation, friends and family will be holding a celebration of life at a later date, yet to be determined.
