Robert Clifton Dameron, 37, of Afton, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2012. He was born on February 7, 1974, in Waynesboro, the son of Robert W. Dameron and Dorothy Graybill Dameron. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Jerry Dameron. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy "Dot" Dameron; his father, Robert "Bobby" Dameron and his wife, Kathy; one daughter, Elizabeth A. Dameron; two brothers, Richard D. Dameron and Scotty W. Dameron; his Nanny, Molly "Shorty" Davis, all of Afton; nephew, Scotty Dameron Jr. of Charlottesville; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2012, at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012, at his mother's home in Afton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for expenses.
