Rebecca Lynn (Bruce) Lamb

Born October 7, 1961 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of Dr. Dale H. Bruce and the late Stella (Robinson) Bruce.

Becky was a graduate of Waynesboro High School-Class of 1980. She was employed by McDonalds for 35 years and had worked at several different area locations as manager. She will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend to many. Her sweet spirit will be sorely missed by those who knew her.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Wayne Bruce.

In addition to her father, survivors include her loving and devoted son, Aaron Lamb of Waynesboro and the fathers of her son, Bobby Lamb and Dave Baker of Little Rock, AR; sisters, Cheryl Hutchens and husband, Dr. James F. Hutchens of Fishersville and Debby Bruce of Waynesboro; special friends, Debbie Jones of Richmond and Martha Colin of Waynesboro; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as friends and coworkers at McDonalds.

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Glovier Memorial United Methodist Church, 688 Highland Ave., Waynesboro with The Rev. Ryan Schaeffer officiating. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be Steven Brown, Clyde Thompson, Chris Johnson, Brad Dewitt, Eric Hall, Corey Shifflett, Tajhrae Barber and Jordan Ross.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, 2015 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St.
