Peggy Ann (Pittman) Norman, 86, of Waynesboro, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at King’s Daughters in Staunton. She was born on March 9, 1932, a daughter of the late Clarence Edward “Buck” and Mary (Brownlee) Pittman.
Peggy worked as a Custodial Engineer with Erie Insurance and she was also employed at the Cavalier Theatre. She was a member of Waynesboro Church of the Brethren. Peggy was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She was an avid bowler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin M. Norman; granddaughter, Theresa Simpson; siblings, Brownlee Pittman, Clarence “Dee” Pittman, and Betty “Janey” Sprouse; as well as her best friend, Mona Campbell.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Richard Lee Norman of Waynesboro, Terry Lee Morris and husband, Bob of Staunton, Jamie Lee Norman and wife, Vickie of Waynesboro, Dale Ann Baldwin and husband, Andrew of Waynesboro, and Tracy Edward Norman and wife, Angie of Fishersville; grandchildren, Shannon, Treavor and Kylie Norman, Derrick and Jason Gregory, Cody Norman, Jamie Bradley, Bryce and Laci Norman; great- grandchildren, Darrion Collins, Hayden, Carter, Landon, and Annabel Gregory, and Sierra and Dakota Fretwell; special friend, Susan Ray; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Pastor Greg Mayo and Chaplain Murphy Terry officiating. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park.
Active and honorary pallbearers will be Peggy’s grandchildren.
The family will receive friends an hour prior to services at the funeral home.
