Nora L. Fisher

Born November 16, 1929 in Waynesboro; she was the daughter of the late Joesph C. and Gertrude (Aylor) Landram.

Mrs. Fisher was a member of Smyrna Presbyterian Church. She worked for Genicom for 23 faithful years until her retirement in 1985 and also was a volunteer at Augusta Health. Nora enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, reading and playing cards.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter S. Fisher on November 13, 2011; son, Jerry Wayne Fisher; seven brothers; one sister.

Survivors include her children, Bobby Lynn Fisher and wife, Kim of Omaha, NE; daughters, Connie Samples and husband, Jeff of Stuarts Draft and Barbara Bruton of North Carolina; grandchildren, Chris Fisher, Jeremy Fisher, Monica Henry, Morgan Coffey, Amber Kight, Michelle Ross, Belinda Potter and Scott Hooker.; numerous great-grandchildren; very dear friend, Ellen Berry.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes with Rev. Patrick Pettit officiating. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.

Active pallbearers will be Chris Fisher, Derek Coffey, Trenton Coffey, Nick Kight, Scott Hooker, Doug Galloway and Terry Rohr.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday prior to the service and other times at her home.
