Michael Bernard Harrill, Sr., 63, of Waynesboro passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Augusta Health surrounded by his family.
Born April 10, 1960 in Norfolk, VA, he was a son of the late Bernard Pickney Harrill and Margaret Elizabeth (Spruill) White. On July 1, 1995 he married Linda Chatham. The two shared 28 wonderful years of marriage.
Prior to retirement, Michael was employed by Badger Transportation for 14 years where he worked as a truck driver. Along with his love for trucking, he was able to enjoy the open road by motorcycle with friends which was a favorite pastime. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his children, grandchildren, and dogs. Michael took great pride in his yard and actually liked doing yard work. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Chatham Harrill of Waynesboro; children, Melissa Ann Kennard and husband, Jeff, of Nashville, TN, Michael Bernard Harrill, Jr. of Waynesboro, and Cheyenne Chatham Harrill and fiancé, William Brown, of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Madyson Finch, Layne McMahan, Brynlee Grace Brown, and Everly Rose Brown; siblings, Debbie Harrill Brewbaker and husband, John, of Valentines, Va, Wade Harrill and wife, Shannon of Irmon, SC, and Kimberly Dickenson of SC; niece, Heather Revelle; nephew, Joey Zito; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
