She was born on September 27, 1930 in Martinsville, Va. to the late Mr. and Mrs. Wade H. Link and was also preceded in death by her son, Robert Alan Frank; sister, Virginia Link Limerick; and brother, W. Hampton Link, Jr.
Mrs. Frank graduated from Martinsville High School and attended Richmond Professional Institute (now Virginia Commonwealth University). After moving to Charlottesville in 1973, she was employed as a secretary at 1800 JPA Apartments for 22 years, retiring in 1995.
Mrs. Frank was a charter member of First Presbyterian Church of Collinsville, where she taught Sunday school, sang in the choir and served as a deacon.
Martha is survived by her high school sweetheart, Robert E. Frank to whom she was married to for 73 years; her daughter, Penny Frank Pugh (Mark) of Louisa County; and grandson, John R. Sprouse of Lewisburg, WV.
No formal services are scheduled at this time and burial will be private at Roselawn Cemetery in Martinsville.
