Madge G. Gorman

Born in Rutherfordton, NC, she was the daughter of the late Walter L. and Helen (West) Gee.

Madge was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Servocon Alpha where she worked in sales. She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association and the Alpha Chi Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Gorman; son, Michael Lynn Gorman; brothers, Earnest, Mark, Truman, George and Walter Gee; and sisters, Mary Elkins, Barbara Gee, Hazel Cookson and Nancy Kee.

Survivors include her two loving daughters, Patrice D. Cason and husband, Steve of Chesterfield and Dale L. Gorman of Charlottesville; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Ted Gee; sister, Cleva Cooper; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 344 Maple Ave., Waynesboro, with Father Rolo B. Castillo officiating. Burial will be held at a later date in Riverview Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews.
