Linda Gayle (Lyle) Sellers, 65, of Waynesboro passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Augusta Health. She was born in Charlottesville on June 13, 1951 and was the daughter of Willis A. Lyle and Margret (Ingram) Sours.
Linda worked as a homemaker and mother. She was an avid reader, especially Science Fiction Novels, a collector of all things dragon flies, and greatly enjoyed filling her life with music. Linda loved spending time with her family and she treasured her three grandsons.
Linda was greeted into Heaven by her mother. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, April Keziah and her husband, Michael of Waynesboro; grandsons, Matthew, Nathan, and Ian Keziah; brother, Will Lyle and his wife, Glenna of Waynesboro; best friend and aunt, Shiela “Bootsy” Vass and her husband, Harry of Staunton; as well as numerous extended family.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Linda’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
