She was born on August 18, 1932, a daughter of the late Arnold Lucas and Eva Virginia (Raines) Johnson.
Marie attended Waynesboro High School and worked at Spotless Hardware, Standard Drug and retired from Mustain Jewelers after many years of service. Her favorite things were attending church, reading her Bible and spending time with her family. Marie never met a stranger and everyone that knew her will remember her loving, forgiving nature and the beautiful smile that was always on her face.
No matter where she went people were drawn to her. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. We are rejoicing for her because she is in the loving arms of her Lord and Savior. She feels no more pain and she is now with her loved ones that have gone on before her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Allen; step-father, Cecil Johnson; son, Ricky Henderson; brother, Sonny Johnson; sister, Joyce Woodward and her long time special friend, John Sensabaugh.
