Emily Jackson Taylor, 44, went to be with the Lord at 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2017.
She was born October 6, 1972 in Staunton, a daughter of J. Forester and Gillian (Whybrew) Taylor.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Anna Compton Taylor; as well as her dedicated caregivers of ten years, the Koiner family of Fishersville.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, 320 St. James Rd., Fishersville, with the Rev. William Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
There will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes.
