Doris worked as a CNA for many years caring for people. She enjoyed doing for others, working in her yard, planting flowers and raising african violets as she was known for her green thumb, she enjoyed painting, crocheting and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Christine Helen Shifflett; father, Charles Hunter Maupin; step-father, Cecil Barnett; son, Eddie Dean Marion, Jr.; brother, Charles Calhoun Maupin and a special nephew, Anthony Wayne Potter.
Survivors include two sons, Steven Douglas Clark and wife Christal, Rodney Dale Clark and wife Connie; daughters, Melissa Nicole Clark and Angie Dione Clark; sister, Linda Mae Potter and husband John; brother, George Hunter Maupin and wife Cheryl; her grandchildren Tiffany Ann Clark, Marjorie Lee Delong, Brittany Michele Schultz, Matthew Douglas Clark, Brandi Renee Campbell, Jacob Wade Hunter Stevens, Tesla Christine Clark, Megan Elizabeth Clark, Dallas Dean Anthony Clark, Jasmine Dale Orion Jarvis, Jaden Lee Edward Jarvis, Savannah Leon Lewis, Wynter Leigh Clark, Jaida Virginia Faith Miller and eleven great-grandchildren.
She also leaves two special aunts, Nellie Kerby, Louise Cook and a special niece, Olivia Nicole Maupin.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 26, 2022 at ClearView Church, 9 Old Cottonwood Lane, Fishersville (Located off Kiddsville Road) with Danny Fisher officiating.
There will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
