She was born July 4, 1967, in Wisconsin to Rose Anne (Petersen) Brooks and the late Landon Brooks.
Dee is survived by her mother, Rose Anne Brooks of Green Bay, WI; her son, Joshua Neitz (Melissa Kuhlman) of Norfolk, VA; and the father of her son, Robert Neitz (Brenda) of Fluvanna, VA.
Dee worked as an executive assistant for UVA Medical Center for 24 years. Having served her country honorably, she was a U.S. Air Force veteran. She was a devoted member of the Waynesboro Moose Lodge #1309. Dee greatly enjoyed spending time with family, crafting, reading, and dancing. Dee will be remembered as a loving mother, daughter, friend, and colleague.
Following cremation, a visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St., Waynesboro.
