

Born February 13, 1950 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Charles Leslie and Pauline Elizabeth (Crum) Palmore.
Over the years Curtis worked for several different companies as an industrial electrician. He was a member of the Waynesboro Moose Lodge #1309, the Waynesboro Chapter of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union 26. Curtis enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Curtis Lee Palmore, Jr. and his brother, Albert Montgomery.
Survivors include his loving son, James Palmore and wife, Monette of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Christian Coble of Virginia Beach, Wendy Curl of Waynesboro, Caitlyn Palmore of Waynesboro and Mike Thompson and wife, Brittany of Stuarts Draft; great grandson, Hunter Thompson; great granddaughter, Zariah Aleana Coble; sisters, Betty Allen of Waynesboro and Jackie Walker of KY; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, the family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 W. Main St.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the Waynesboro Moose Lodge #1309, 481 Hopeman Parkway, Waynesboro.
