Brenda Lilley Reedy

Brenda Lilley Reedy passed away on November 27, 2012 at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. Ms. Reedy was born on April 23, 1950 in Waynesboro, Virginia, the daughter of the late Roy J. Lilley, Sr. and Margaritta Dutton Lilley. She was a graduate of Waynesboro High School, Blue Ridge Community College, Radford College, and James Madison. She taught Reading and other subjects for Augusta County Public Schools for over 25 years. She was married to the late Larry Reedy of Waynesboro. Survivors include her brother, R. J. Lilley, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Succasunna, New Jersey, two nieces - Sarah Lilley O’Rourke and her husband, Patrick, and son, Parker, of Neptune, New Jersey, and Jennifer Lilley Kerwin and her husband Matt of Hoboken, New Jersey, three aunts - Mabel Arehart, Beuhla Swisher, and Stella Lilley of Augusta County, and many friends in the Waynesboro/Augusta County area. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes of Waynesboro, Virginia with Mary Ann Lambert-Quick and Gene Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
