Betty Jean White was born in Chesapeake to Chap and Cora Nash on May 29, 1955.
She was married to William Nelson White on November 6, 1971 in Chesapeake.
She worked at DuPont Credit Union and owned and operated 7-Eleven on Rosser Avenue and King Avenue in Waynesboro along with her husband for 23 years.
Betty Jean White was preceded in death by her parents, Chap and Cora Nash; brother, Billy Wyrick and a sister, Virginia Edwards.
Survivors include her husband, William Nelson White; son, John White and fiance’ Jennifer Vitt; daughter, Michelle Argenbright and husband Terry Argenbright; grandchildren, Storm Argenbright, Hunter Argenbright, Zeke White, Katie Argenbright; great granddaughter Sky Argenbright; brothers, Chap Nash and wife Marsha, Donald Nash and George Nash.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at Calvary United Methodist Church, 2179 Stuarts Draft Highway, Stuarts Draft, Va. at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024 with Pastor David Vaughn officiating.
