Adoring husband of the late Jeanette Allen. Loving father to Belinda (Robert) Vetor, Audrey (Bruce) Meyers, William Allen, and James (Michele) Allen. William is survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bill retired from Ford Motor Company’s Wayne Assembly Plant at the age of 65 with over 25 years of service to the company.
Bill enlisted in the US Marine Corp and fought in the Korean War for which his bravery during combat earned him a Bronze Star.
In his younger days, Bill was an avid reader enjoyed unique movies, and had an eclectic taste in music.
A Memorial Gathering for William will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 34567 Michigan Avenue, Wayne, Michigan 48184, followed by a Memorial Service at 12:00 PM.
