Tom was a great guy and I'll always remember the good times we had when we trained together. Rest in God's Peace.

Working with Tom at Phoenix back in the 80’s was very good experience.  He was so funny and gregarious and in addition, I learned a lot from him about a lot of different things in the Intake area - he was very helpful to a person new to the custody arena.

So sorry to hear of this.  Tom was one of my trainers when I hired into the DOC in 84.  Can’t help but see his face when I think back on my career, always seemed to have a friendly grin on his face and it seemed nothing knocked him off his square.  Would be honored to attend his memorial, but we are out of the country until April 11th.  Pat and family, please accept our condolences and may you find comfort in the many memories of Tom.

Partings come and hearts are broken,
Loved ones go with words unspoken,
Deep in our hearts there's a memory kept
For a beloved friend we will never forget.

Boyne, Michigan last year, where 86  of us enjoyed our time with him, as always. This May at our gathering there, we will owl miss him, and toast our dear friend. 

Our last gathering with Tom was in Gatlinburg, TN in December 2022.

He joined our travel group  exactly 11 years ago to the date he passed away.

He will be dearly missed at all of our 5 gatherings each year, around the country, but especially our yearly gatherings in Boyne, Michigan  each May. 



No words can express my sadness, though I feel blessed to have called Tom my friend. Pat you and your family are in my prayers and have my sympathy. Tom will be missed at our get togethers, and his wisecracks and jokes . 

Pat and boys, I am so sorry for your loss.  I will miss the jokes that Tom shared on FB.  They always gave me a good laugh.  I am glad that Gary and I got to know you and Tom. He will be missed. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
