Rita Diana Duhamel Pierini

Rita Diana Pierini was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 30, 1929 to Adelaide and Diana Duhamel, one of 9 children. She passed away peacefully under the gentle care of Angela Hospice on September 21, 2012 at the age of 82.

Rita was the beloved wife of the late Donald L. Pierini for over 40 years until his death in 1994. Loving mother of Donald (Linda) Pierini, Diana Pierini, John (Rosalyn) Pierini, Susan Jahn and Anne (Tom) Lamacchia. Dear grandmother of George Gutenberg, Julie McCrory, Sean (Danielle) Wichert, Emma Pierini, Nicholas Pierini, Justin Jahn, Stephanie Jahn, Emily Jahn, Nolan Jahn, Isabella Lamacchia, Anthony Lamacchia and Gabriella Lamacchia. Great-grandmother of Mia Gutenberg, Susanne Gutenberg, Dylan McCrory, Sean Wichert Jr. and Dawn Wichert. Rita is survived by her brother Raymond (the late Pauline) Duhamel.

Rita was a telephone operator for AT&T until her retirement in 1991.

Rita will be laid to rest with her husband in Bushnell National Cemetery in Florida.
