Patrick James Fries

Pat, lovingly nicknamed "FEEDBAG" by his friends and family, was born April 18, 1982

in Wayne, Michigan, to Victor and Katherine (Kroeger) Fries.

He attended St. Mary Catholic Grade School in Wayne, graduated from Detroit

Catholic Central High School in the class of 2001, and attended Kalamazoo Community

College upon graduation.

Pat enjoyed playing softball and golf with his friends and brothers, spending time with

his family, and was an avid collector of vintage athletic shoes.

After returning to Wayne for the holidays from Los Angeles, California, where he

relocated earlier this year to pursue a career in film editing and production management,

his final days were spent surrounded by family and friends whose lives Pat had touched

in so many ways throughout his short, yet very memorable life.

Pat's life would seem too short to many, but those close to him understand and are

thankful that the quality and depth of the experiences they shared far exceed the duration

of time in which he lived. He brought so much joy to our family.

He is survived by his loving parents, Victor and Katherine, and brothers, Vincent (Melinda)

and Nicholas.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday January 3, 2013 from 3-9 pm with a Roasary Service at 7:00 pm at the

Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 34567 Michigan Avenue in Wayne, Michigan 48184.

Funeral Mass will be Friday January 4, 2013, lying in state at 11:30 am for a 12:00 noon Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 34530 Michigan Avenue in Wayne, Michigan.
