Margaret was especially close to her husband's niece Anna Lee (Harrison) Banks who lived with and took care of Margaret in the last few years of her life. The family appreciates the sacrifice, love and comfort she gave her.
Margaret was a devoted member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Canton, MI for many years and even though she had been housebound for quite a while she watched the services which were live streamed. The pastor and others would visit her faithfully and frequently, which also gave her much comfort and peace.
Margaret loved her neighbors and was especially close to Bridget, who would also be there for Margaret in any way possible. Anyone who met Margaret would agree that she was quite a character. Always ready to laugh and joke. She was also a fiesty woman who never hesitated to speak her mind. She definitely knew who she was, what she believed in and she firmly stood her ground.
Margaret will be sorely missed and forever remembered by many.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 10am until time of service at 12:30pm at Harry J. Will Funeral Home in Wayne. Margaret will be laid to rest at Glenwood Cemetery.
