It was a blessing for me to have worked, played and laughed with my friend Gary Simon. For over 30 years together he made my Journey more enjoyable and fruitful. For that I am ever grateful! God Bless you Gary.

I met Gary at the Canton public library singing with barbershop quartet - Euphoria. My wife Judy and I were visiting our daughter and we had to stay for almost a year.  Gary would drive me to the Wayne chorus rehearsals every week.  I remember Gary as a soft spoken, kindhearted man. When I had to return home to India I shared with Gary my concern about my daughter being alone to cope with her four daughters, since my son-in-law had to work out of town during the week.  Gary assured me he would help in every way possible.  Farewell Gary my dear friend.  I convey my deepest sympathy to the bereaved family.

As a Kiwanian,  I send my deepest sympathy to the Simon family.  Kiwanis was like a family to me, and we will feel the loss deeply. He was a great man and a great Kiwanian.  Hoping you feel the care of others surrounding  you will help sustain you in such a deep loss.  Sending our thoughts and prayers to you.

Kirk, David, and Kristen:  your dad was well-liked and had so many interests. . .  he cared so deeply about the three of you.  All of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Gary was one of the first people I met in the Cadillac "Drafting Room" in 1964.  Always a gentleman and a perfectionist.  Planned to meet in Traverse City this spring, I'm sad that will never happen.

To the Family and Friends of Gary, my Families Condolences.   I knew Gary from Cadillac Engineering and had him assist me in some design drawing issues throughout the years. He was always willing to help out and was involved in many things and I know he will be missed by many, due to his involvement and passion with many things.

As a friend of Lynne's, I know how much she treasured Gary and how much you all will miss him.  You have my sympathy for your loss.  I never knew Gary, though we shared the same kindergarten teacher--Mrs. Downing (sp?).  So I know he had a good start in life and, from Lynne, I know he has a great family to remember him.
