Beverly Jean Garrett

She was born Beverly Jean Stepanian on March 3, 1943. She was baptized at age nine. She graduated from Cody High School with honors. She married William A Garrett at the age of eighteen. When she was twenty, she became a mother for the first time, to her daughter Stacy in 1963. Again, she became a mother to Joanne in 1966. Following that, she became mother to Christine (Barbara Jean) in 1972. Then she had her last child in 1978, William Scott.

Beverly is survived by her brother Gary, his wife Debbie along their children and spouses. Her daughter Stacy and her husband Bryan. Her daughter Joanne predeceased, and her husband Lance. Her daughter Christine (Barbara Jean) and her husband Jarrod, along with Christine’s daughter Celia, and by her son William Scott.

In her life, Beverly loved many things. Among these are playing the piano, which she played for many years at the Kingdom Hall. She loved to cook and bake. She had many good recipes. She believed good food contributed to good health. Beverly was a very thoughtful person and extended her help to those in need. In addition, her ministry was very important to her, which she shared with all she could. Beverly had a strong belief in the resurrection hope and would want to share with all of you.

“Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life… “(John 5:28, 29)

As we remember Beverly Jean Garrett, a memorial gathering will be held Sunday, April 16, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a service at 5:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 34567 Michigan Avenue, Wayne, Michigan 48184.
