Ronald B. Verner, age 78 of Dorr, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, May 14, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Verla Verner and brother Daniel Verner. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Alma Verner; their children Ron (Luanne) Verner, Theresa (Gary) Karel and Steve Verner; seven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Mary Lou Guestella, Jackie Ripley and Joy Garber. Ron proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a long time member of the American Legion Post 127 where he served as Commander, Chaplin and barkeeper. Funeral services will be held 11am, Friday, May 17, 2019 at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 4219 Park Lane, Dorr. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday 6-8pm at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 4330 18th St. Dorr and Friday one hour prior to services at church.
