Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Katie Coppens.
He will be lovingly missed by his children Rachael Coppens and Robert Coppens III; grandchildren Kyle Coppens, Kamryn Coppens and Reggie Driver; father, Robert Coppens I; siblings Candace Reed, Chris Coppens and Carrie VanZwol.
Robert was gregarious and funny - always telling great stories. He honorably served his country as a proud Marine.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 10 AM at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, with visitation from 9-10 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Robert to the MS Foundation.
