Martin “Marty” Lee VanderMolen, age 64, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, December 1, 2023, while at home surrounded by family. He deeply loved and cherished his family and enjoyed spending each moment with them. Marty was also a jokester and always had a smile on his face; he loved making people laugh. He had a heart of gold, would help anyone in need, and was a friend to all. Later in life, he worked at the Cascade Costco and considered them his “Costco family.” Most importantly, he cherished his faith in Jesus Christ and lived this out in his day-to-day.
Martin will be deeply missed by his wife, Kimberly VanderMolen; daughter, Pamela (David) Willison; stepchildren Branden (Jennifer) Wheelock, Megan Wheelock, Nathan Wheelock, Anthony VanderMolen, Treson VanderMolen, Elijah VanderMolen, Brielle VanderMolen, Aleigha VanderMolen; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings Steve (Donna) VanderMolen, Tom (Barb) VanderMolen, Lori Schipper; many extended family and friends.
Martin was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Jean VanderMolen, and stepdaughter, Kristin Pablo.
