He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 14 years, Michele; children Mason Miller and Bionca Robinson; parents Roger Spicer, Pat Belka, and Cheryl and Chuck Schoenborn; in-laws, Joseph and Joan Miller; siblings Kyle Spicer (Natalie), Nate Schoenborn (Megan), Carrol Belka (Karen), and Corinna Elliott (Tom); brother-in-law, Joseph J. Miller; step-siblings Kevin Schoenborn, Vicki LaMadine, Amy Boomgaard, Janice Chapin, Cathy Hoolsema, and Elizabeth Boudreau; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lela and Richard Spicer. Kevin was immensely proud of his wife and children and loved them fiercely. If anyone loved a good laugh and a good time it was Kevin - which was evident by the nicknames “Good Time Charlie” and “The Legend,” which he had acquired over the years. He had more one-liners than China has tea. He was funny to the point of genius. He was a music loving, guitar playing, dirt bike riding, go-cart racing, High Life drinking, taco eating, tumbleweed of a man, and the hole that his passing has left will never be filled. He lived at his own pace and was late for practically everything but he sure looked good when he finally got there. Time waited for no one but him and now stands still for the army of people that love him. As to the visitation and funeral, please come as you are. Every time Kevin had to attend any special event, he always asked, “do I have to dress up for this?” Every. Single. Time. He was most comfortable in one of his favorite flannels, boots, and jeans. If you are so inclined, please wear a flannel in his memory to the visitation or memorial.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
It is Mason's wish that any memorial contributions be received by his little sister. Therefore, memorial contributions may be made for the benefit of Bionca Robinson at the Wayland Branch of United Bank.
The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.KubiakCook.com.
