Julia Ann Gilder, age 91, of Plainwell, formerly of Hopkins, met her Savior face to face on May 1, 2013. She is survived by her children: Kathleen (Thomas) Hamill, James II (JoAnne) Gilder, and Nancy (James) Bickel; 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren and anticipated the birth of four more this year. Julia was preceded in death by her husband James, her brother Bernie Kraai and her sister Marguerite Zumbrink. A funeral service will be Saturday at 10:30 A.M. at the Hopkins Community Reformed Church, with Jonathan Bickel officiating. Private interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Wayland. Family will greet friends and relatives 5-8 PM, Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Service, 312 N. Main St., Wayland. Contributions may be made to a memorial of your choice.
