Harvey Hazen

Harvey G. Hazen, age 92, went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Wednesday, October 18, 2017.  He is preceded in death by his wives, Eleanor and Evelyn; parents Fay and Flocy; brother Clifford, and infant sister Doris.   He will be lovingly remembered by his children Beverly (Ken) Sutter, Ken (Sandy) Hazen, and Rodney (Diana) Hazen; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lorraine Goeree, and many nieces and nephews. Harvey grew up on a farm in Hopkins, MI. He celebrated 51 years of marriage to Eleanor Goeree, they raised three children. They enjoyed their time square dancing, camping and winters in Florida. Harvey retired from General Motors after 33 years. Visitation will be held from 2-4PM and 6-8PM Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home - 312 N. Main St., Wayland, Michigan. Funeral service will be held at 11AM Monday, October 23, 2017 at the funeral home.  Pastor Karl Rewa will be officiating. Interment will take place at Maplewood Cemetery.  In honor of Harvey, contributions may be made to Wayland Area Ambulance Services.  The family welcomes memories and messages in their online guest book at www.kubiakcook.com.
