Gordon Raymond Wells

Gordon R. Wells, age 82, went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, April 16, 2024. Gordon was born May 4, 1941 in Marion, Michigan. Gordon is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandra and his daughters Diandra (Jeff) Feddema and Danelle Fox.

Gordon graduated from Sexton High School. He loved to sing in a choral group that got together for many years.

He graduated from M.S.U, and soon after graduation went into working in insurance. He served on the Chamber of Commerce in Grand Ledge for 30 years as a treasurer. He served on the Yankee Springs planning commission and board of appeals for over 30 years. He also loved being a Lions Club member (treasurer).

In his "free time" he volunteered at Pennock Hospital, played euchre with friends. He loved reading books - many, many books from Martin Public Library. He enjoyed being outside taking care of his lawn. He also loved Gun Lake Community Church where he served as an elder.
