She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Ed Wobma; parents Leonard and Evelyn Vander Band; and brother, Kent Vander Band.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children James (Brenda) Wobma, Joy Hayes, John Wobma, Julie (Todd) Hooker, Jade (Terry) Schober, Jill Latif; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Gloria was a longtime member of Calvary Church of Wayland. She taught Sunday school for many years and sang in the choir. She worked along with her husband for many years in their business.
A private family service was held, with a possible memorial service at a later date, at Elmwood Cemetery.
