Water was integral to her life as she grew up on Gun Lake and spent her later years living in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. She married Ronald Kraai January 24, 1970, and was vital to the success of their water well drilling business. Denise enjoyed remodeling, decorating, gardening, antiquing, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
Denise was preceded in death by her parents David and Jeannette Anderson; in-laws Bernie and Georgia Kraai; and brother, Jack Anderson. Denise is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Kraai; son, Chad (Jessica) Kraai; daughter, Shana (Steve) Dam; grandchildren Mikaela, Emilia, and Kiera Dam, London, Rowan, and Preston Kraai; brothers James (Kristen) Anderson and John (Jill) Anderson; brother-in-law, Richard Kraai; as well as several nephews, nieces, and close friends.
