David A. Root, age 69 of Wayland, went to be with his Savior April 7, 2014. He will be lovingly remembered by his special friend Alice; his sister Gloria (Larry) Byle; and several nieces and nephews. Dave retired as an electrician from Newkirk Electric. A time for relatives and friends to visit with Dave's family will be held from 4-7 PM Friday, April 11, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services in Dorr, 4330 18th Street. A private graveside service will be held Saturday, 11 AM at Dorr Cemetery with Pastor Scott Otis officiating. Donations in memory of Dave may be made to Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods.
