He will be lovingly remembered as a hero by his parents Carey Baker and Julie (Jay) Baker; children, Elizabeth and Haylee; sister, Lisa Kruisenga; nieces, Chelsea and Joslin and great nephew, Jayce; girlfriend, Bethany Greig; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
David had a huge heart, a personality bigger than life, with a macho exterior. David and his daughter shared a passion for Jujitsu.
He had a love for children and animals, but most of all, David loved his family and many friends.
Visitation with the family will be held from 2 - 4pm and 6 - 8pm, Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home at 312 N. Main St, Wayland.
Funeral Service will be held at 11am Monday, September 9, 2019 at Moline Baptist Church, 4428 Chappell, Moline, 49335.
Rev. Christopher Bossio will be officiating.
