Pauline was born in Winslow June 6, 1926, the daughter of Ludger and Melina (Poulin) LaFlamme. She married Rosaire Couture on April 21, 1946 and they raised 6 children together until his death on September 16, 1981. She then married Joseph Boudreau on August 18, 1984 and welcomed his 11 children and their families into the new union. Pauline was affectionately known as Memere/Mambie and there was nothing more precious to her in life than family and friends.
Pauline is survived by her husband Joseph, sisters Mrs. David Morin (Jacqueline) of New Hampshire and Mrs. Fred Brown (Johanna) of Waterville, daughters Mrs. Richard (Rose Ann) Crockett of Greenwood, Mrs. Charles (Paulette/Poppy) Bridges of Oakland, Ms. Barbara Blethen of Hermon and Mrs. Ralph (Jane) Seeley of Benton, sons Mike (Jan) Couture of Virginia and Bill (Debbie) Couture of Hawaii, 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her extended family includes 11 Boudreau children, 23 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be from 11AM to 1PM Saturday followed by a Memorial service at 1PM Saturday at Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm St., Waterville. Internment will be conducted in the spring at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta.
