Deborah L. Bolduc

WATERVILLE -- Deborah L. Bolduc, 61, died after a long illness Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at MaineGeneral Medical Center. She was born in Waterville, March 4, 1952, the daughter of Marcel G. and Beatrice E. (McInnis) Bolduc.

Debbie graduated from Waterville High School in the class of 1970 and was the state individual gymnastic balance beam champion. She went on to the University of Maine at Orono where she graduated in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history.

Debbie worked for nearly 20 years at the Villager Restaurant and another 20 years with the Waterville Housing Authority. She was a current member of the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity.

She loved the beach and warm sunny days and was an avid watcher of professional golf, hardly missing a televised tournament and even attending a live event in Florida. Her greatest love was Christmas, hosting her annual Christmas Eve for her family as well all the summer hot dog cookouts by the pool. She also greatly enjoyed staying in touch with her nieces and nephews.

Debbie was predeceased by her father, Marcel G. Bolduc; her brother, Darryll W. Bolduc; and two cats she adored, Charlie and Flash.

Surviving are her mother, Beatrice E. (McInnis) Bolduc, of Waterville; six brothers and a sister: David and Kathy Bolduc, of Florida, Danny and Jane Bolduc, of Sidney, Donna and Bill Boutin, of Sidney, Drew Bolduc, of Waterville, Dennis and Norma Bolduc, of Oakland, Donald and Kathryn Bolduc, of Falmouth, and Damian and Nancy Bolduc, of Cumberland Foreside; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and her cat Ace.

A funeral liturgy, outside of Mass, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Silver Street, Waterville. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Grove Street, Waterville.
