David William Huard

BANGOR - David W. Huard passed away peacefully on June 5, 2015 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine with his family by his side. He was born on June 15, 1951 in Waterville, Maine, the son of Lucille (Fortin) Huard and William J Huard. He graduated from

Waterville High School in 1969 and was employed at Berards Auto Body in Waterville, Maine until his health declined in 1990.

David married Bonnie (Gidney) Huard on October 12th 1974 and they made their home in Vassalboro, Maine. They were blessed with a Son, David J Huard on April 7th, 1978

David enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was an avid coin collector and would travel to various locations to find that one coin he just had to have. He loved a good family barbeque and a lobster dinner on the coast. David and his family spent many summers on the coast entertaining friends and family.

David was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Lucille Huard. David will be sadly missed by his wife and companion of 40 years Bonnie Huard, his son and daughter in law, David and Jeni Shaw Huard of Bethel, Maine and his grandsons, Jace Huard, Briar Huard and Frost Shaw Huard all of Bethel. He is also survived by a sister, Beverly Howard of Virginia, aunts, uncles and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m Friday, June 12, 2015 at Notre Dame Church, 116 Silver Street, Waterville, Maine followed by a graveside service at St Frances Cemetery on Grove St. in Waterville. Friends and family are invited to a reception following the service at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial Street, Waterville from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 PM.
