Robert William Johnson

Bob left us on March 2, 2016. He was 83 years old. His life was remarkable. He started life on February 23, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY as the son of Lillian (MacDonald) and Thomas Johnson. In 1951 he joined the Marine’s and fought in combat in Korea. On February 17, 1954 he married the love of his life, Alice Lee. Bob was a charming, handsome man with a great sense of humor. In his earlier years he worked as a salesman, last working for Greer Toyota, in Wappinger’s Falls. After many years of personal challenges, Bob had a spiritual awaking and became a believer. Starting with a small meditation group it slowly evolved to include trance. With Alice’s nudging he became a minister for the Church of Ageless Wisdom. He had a modest following and did retreats and trips to the Holy Land. It was though this transition he found his true calling in life as a Trance Medium and Hypnotherapist.

Bob had many awards from National Guild of Hypnotists for his work and also published three books: The Letter Of The Law and The Lore Of The Letter, He Sends You Knowledge, and most recently Angels Over Light.

Bob is survived by his wife, Alice, of NYC, his daughter and her husband Beth and Ray Jones, of Highland, NY, three granddaughters Brittany and Justin Pascale, of Milton, NY, Caitlyn Jones and her fiancé’ Nicholas Hall, of NYC, Chelsea and Tyler Fawcett, of Albany, NY, three great grandsons Michael, Matteo and Nunzio Pascale and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was predeceased by his daughter, Cathie and infant son Vincent as well as his three brothers, Thomas, Donald and Raymond.

A service with military honors will be held graveside at the Union Cemetery of Lloyd, 841 New Paltz Rd. Highland, NY on June 27, 2016 at 11:00 am.
