Richard J. McCullough

Richard J. McCullough of Washingtonville, NY entered into rest on April 24, 2011 at Montgomery Nursing Home. He was 78. He was born in Bronx, NY on October 4, 1932 to Peter J. McCullough and Margaret Flynn.

Richard was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Council 5890 of Washingtonville, the American Legion of Greenwood Lake and VFW Post 8691 of Washingtonville. He was a former chairman ZBA of Blooming Grove and fourth degree member of Monsignor William G. Foley Assembly.

He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather who lived for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret T. McCullough of Washingtonville; son, George P. and his wife, Debbie McCullough of Montgomery, NY; daughter, Margaret Mary McMahon of Washingtonville; daughter-in-law, Sharon McCullough of Wappinger Falls; sister-in-law, Barbara McCullough of White Plains, NY; grandchildren: Mari Heather, Colleen and Kaitlyn McCullough, Dennis, Margaret and Melissa McMahon and Maureen and Lorenzo Santiago; great-grandchildren: Jorden, Angel, Corey, DJ and Anthony, Jr. as well as many nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his son, Richard J. McCullough, Jr. and brother, Donald McCullough.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 29, 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
