Renee Orso, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025, at the age of 68. She was born on November 6, 1956, in the Bronx, New York, and was a longtime resident of Washingtonville, New York.
Renee was married to her loving husband of forty-eight years, Lawrence Orso, and was the proud mother of three sons, Lawrence of Murrieta, CA, Christopher and his wife Jeanny of Newburgh, and Ryan and his wife Emily of Montgomery. She was a devoted grandmother to Lexzie, Lawrence, Dominic, Angel, and her granddog Sammy, all of whom brought her immeasurable joy.
She is survived by her sister, Kim Lavelle, of Chesapeake, Virginia, and was predeceased by her eldest son, Lawrence Orso. Renee was known for her kind heart, her infectious laugh, and her love of spending time with her grandchildren. She had a wonderful ability to make everyone feel special with her humor and warm presence.
A memorial visitation will be held in Renee's honor on March 1, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, 20 North Street, Washingtonville, NY. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate her life and share cherished memories. Prayer service will be at 3:30 PM
Renee will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her love, laughter, and spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
